Heaty Complete Series
The correct heating water quality during make-up is crucial to prevent damage and maintain warranty claims. This is ensured by VDI 2035, ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-1.
Professional replenishment systems for all system sizes
For a heating or cooling system to function optimally, a sufficient amount of water must always be available. This is precisely why we have developed our Heaty Complete series, which is specially designed for use in heating systems. A reduction in the system pressure and a loss of the carrier medium to a certain extent is unavoidable. The system operator must therefore regularly top up the water and refill the heating system. With our new top-up systems from the Heaty Complete PROfessional and the Heaty Complete Advanced this can also be done fully automatically and the heating system is topped up quickly and the heating water is treated in the process.
Three parameters play a role here: system separation, water treatment and monitoring. This ensures long-term, functional and safe operation of the system. Of course, we still have our popular Heaty Complete Home series in our portfolio and replenishment systems for larger heating systems. The make-up systems for heating water from UWS meet the guidelines of VDI 2035, ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-1 and protect against corrosion, scale formation and stabilize the pH value within the required range. The integrated BA system separator ensures the clean separation of drinking and heating water in accordance with EN 1717. Our PROfessional series replenishment stations are also designed for filling heating systems. Depending on the size of the system, you can choose between different make-up units and filling stations for the heating system to efficiently top up the heating system.

Solutions for small-sized systems
Our top-up and filling stations for heating and cooling systems make it easy to treat make-up water in accordance with VDI 2035, VDI 6044, ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-01. The stations are integrated directly into the pipework and ensure consistently high water quality in the system at all times. All relevant values can be easily read via the digital display with intuitive menu navigation. If the system pressure drops, the system is automatically topped up with treated or demineralised water.
For smaller system sizes, we recommend our fully automatic solutions from the Heaty Complete PROfessional, Advanced and Home series, as well as the respective XL variants. The Heaty Complete Advanced is also available in an OFK version – ideal if a system separator is already installed on site. With the Heaty Complete Home series, spent mixed-bed resin is particularly easy to identify by the colour change.
Consistently high water quality is crucial for the efficient and safe operation of heating and cooling systems. If the make-up water is not treated appropriately, this can lead to corrosion, scale build-up and resulting operational faults. This is precisely where our make-up water solutions come into play: with innovative full-desalination cartridges, they ensure stable water quality and maintain system performance in the long term.
The Heaty Complete PROfessional and Advanced series continuously monitor the condition of the mixed-bed resin and issue an audible and visual alarm in the event of a critical condition. In the Heaty Complete Home series, an indicator cartridge conveniently displays the resin’s depletion status via a colour change. This allows the salt content of the water to be reliably monitored at all times – ensuring maximum operational reliability and consistently high efficiency of heating and cooling systems.
Solutions for medium-sized systems
For medium-sized systems, we recommend our Heaty Complete PROfessional XL, Heaty Complete Advanced XL and Heaty Complete Home Duplex water-making units. With a filling capacity of 240 l/h and a capacity of up to 5,400 litres – depending on the water hardness – these systems are ideal for the reliable top-up of heating and cooling systems.
The integrated BA system separator prevents potentially contaminated system water from flowing back into the drinking water system. In addition, a pressure reducer ensures variable adjustment of the filling pressure. Important values such as capacity and battery charge level can be conveniently read on the digital display of the make-up units. An audible and visual alarm is triggered if the mixed-bed resin reaches a critical condition.
The Heaty Complete PROfessional XL is cloud-enabled and enables fully automatic top-up, including additional functions such as leak protection. The Heaty Complete Advanced XL also offers automated top-up for safe and efficient system operation. All top-up stations are also available in an OFK version – ideal if a system separator is already installed on site.
Consistently high water quality is crucial for the efficient and safe operation of both heating and cooling systems. If the make-up water does not meet the required standards, this can lead to corrosion, scale build-up, operational faults and reduced efficiency. Our make-up water systems provide a sustainable solution: thanks to innovative full-desalination cartridges, they ensure consistently high water quality, thereby supporting the long-term maintenance of system performance.

Solutions for large-sized systems
We also offer high-performance solutions for large to very large heating and cooling systems, ensuring that make-up water is treated in accordance with VDI 2035, VDI 6044, ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-01. Our Heaty Complete Fix and Heaty Complete GLT series ensure consistently high water quality in the system over the long term, thereby supporting efficient and safe plant operation. An integrated LED reliably indicates the depletion status of the mixed-bed resin.
The Heaty Complete GLT also features capacity monitoring and transmits messages directly to the building management system (BMS) as soon as the resin is exhausted or problems with the measurement technology arise. The desired conductivity limit can be conveniently set via the display. This allows important water parameters, such as a stable pH value and a conductivity of less than 100 µS/cm, to be continuously monitored and maintained.
Through controlled top-up with full desalination, the systems make a lasting contribution to maintaining system efficiency and operational reliability. Both series are also available in an OFK version – ideal if a system isolator is already installed on site.
Our makeup water solutions enable you to reliably maintain key water parameters such as a pH value of 8–10 and a conductivity of less than 100 µS/cm. The Heaty Complete series for large-scale systems uses innovative full-desalination cartridges to ensure consistently high water quality, thereby helping to maintain system efficiency in the long term.
Controlled make-up water continuously monitors the condition of the mixed-bed resin. The resin’s depletion level can be reliably detected at any time via LED indicators or a connection to the building management system. This allows early conclusions to be drawn about the salt content of the water and ensures water quality is maintained over the long term.

FAQ - At a glance
Heating systems use a make-up system to compensate for the normal loss of water in the pipe systems. If the pressure in the pipe system is too low, additional water is pumped into the pipe system by the make-up system. The make-up system also ensures that the water meets the required standards.
A professional make-up system for heating systems ensures that the water level and water quality in the system remain constant. This is partly automated using special make-up stations that compensate for water loss and maintain the efficiency of the heating system.
For a heating or cooling system to function optimally, a sufficient amount of water must always be available. A reduction in the system pressure and a loss of the carrier medium to a certain extent is unavoidable. The system operator must therefore regularly top up the water and refill the heating system. To do this, there are top-up systems that are operated manually or automated solutions. Automated top-up systems such as the Heaty Complete PROfessional or the Heaty Complete Advanced ensure a constant water pressure, minimize maintenance and protect the heating system from damage caused by corrosion or stone formation. They also save time and are easy to install.
The water quality is crucial for protecting the heating system against corrosion and deposits. Professional make-up systems use demineralized water and maintain important parameters such as the pH value (8-10) and conductivity (< 100 µS/cm).
The Heaty Complete PROfessional/Advanced and Heaty Complete PROfessional/Advanced XL are suitable for small system sizes. These systems offer automated make-up and are available both as complete solutions and in versions without a filling combination if a system separator is already present.
For medium-sized systems, we recommend the Heaty Complete PROfessional/Advanced XL and the Heaty Complete Home Duplex, which offer a filling capacity of 240 l/h and a capacity of up to 5,400 liters. These systems are pre-assembled and enable automated and efficient make-up.
The Heaty Complete Fix series and the Heaty Complete GLT series offer reliable solutions for large system sizes. These systems ensure consistent water quality in the heating system and offer additional functions such as capacity control and messages to the building management system (BMS).
Depending on the size of the system, make-up mainly differs in terms of the capacity of the mixed bed resin and the automated functions. Smaller systems are compact and designed for simple make-up, while larger systems have comprehensive control and monitoring options.
Yes, all make-up systems in the Heaty Complete series meet the requirements of the relevant standards such as VDI 2035, ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-1. These standards ensure that the water quality meets the requirements of the heating system.
Make-up systems such as the Heaty Complete GLT offer an LED display or a message to the building management system (BMS) that indicates the depletion status of the mixed bed resin. The make-up stations of the Heaty Complete PROfessional/Advanced provide visual and acoustic alarms. The filling stations of the Heaty Complete Home series show a color change of the mixed bed resin. All three technologies enable timely maintenance and the preservation of water quality.
No, a top-up device is not a legal requirement. However, almost all heating system manufacturers require that the topped-up water complies with the VDI 2035, ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-1 guidelines. If this is not the case, warranty claims may be invalidated. In addition, a good make-up system extends the service life of a heating system.
