WaterBoy richtig kalibrieren
Our WaterBoy dual measuring device must be calibrated regularly in order to provide accurate values for the VDI 2035, ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-01 standards:
- pH calibration: every 5 days (pH 7 and pH 10 mandatory according to VDI 2035, pH 4 optional)
- Conductivity calibration: every 14 days (1413 µS/cm and 84 µS/cm)
- UWS recommendation: Calibrate the measuring device at both conductivity points to achieve even more accurate measurement results.
- However, for a valid calibration, it is sufficient to calibrate the conductivity at one of the two points.
The WaterBoy app helps you with precise instructions on how to proceed correctly during calibration.
Perform calibration with the UWS WaterBoy app
To do this, switch to the desired tab (μS or pH)
If the calibration is invalid or has expired, the message ‘Device must be calibrated’ is highlighted in red at the bottom.
If the calibration has expired, please recalibrate the respective measuring probe.
Click on ‘Calibrate’ for step-by-step instructions on calibration.
Important: As soon as the device has been calibrated to a calibration solution, the app jumps out of calibration again. To calibrate another point, click on ‘Calibrate’ again and follow the instructions.
The date of the calibration and the calibrated points are displayed after successful calibration.
