Even small amounts of iron oxide or other impurities result in considerable efficiency losses and thus energy wastage. Filters from the MAGella series can remove almost 100 % of the black iron oxide sludge (magnetite) present as suspended matter in all central heating systems, as well as all other particles down to 1 µm. The filters “actively” catch the circulating dirt – this ensures year-round protection.
Why do we have the
MAGella series developed?
Our superhero for standard-compliant water treatment, Mr. Heaty, met Ms. Magella while treating a heating system. It has set itself the task of combating magnetite in heating and cooling systems. Both recognized that their tasks complement each other wonderfully and therefore decided to develop solutions for clean water together with us from now on.
The MAGella 100 magnetite separator is a compact magnetite filter for removing system contamination in heating and cooling systems. It removes all types of contamination that usually occur in these systems. It protects the boiler and helps to maintain optimum operation and efficiency of the system.
The MAGella MG 100 makes use of a unique magnetic core to maximise the contact time between the circulating contaminants and the powerful neodymium iron boron magnets. It is particularly suitable for systems with little space available. It has a compact design combined with a linear construction and a T-piece that can be rotated by 360°.

The MAGella core reduces the water flow rate and turbulence within the filter to improve the retention of contaminants. It also ensures that the filter remains clog-free. The separated impurities can be easily flushed out of the system by removing the magnet and opening the drain valve on the lower part of the filter.

The dual filters in the MAGella twister range are unique, highly efficient system filters for magnetic and non-magnetic contaminants in heating and cooling systems. They include an absolute fine filter up to 1 μm and one of the most powerful magnetite separators on the market. With its 11 x 12,000-gauss magnet, the MAGella twister 10 is probably the most powerful compact filter in the world.
The fine filter with pressure spring removes even the finest dirt particles from the system. With a flow rate of 5 or 10 m³/h, it is also ideal for use in very large systems. The twister insert ensures continuous distribution of the volume flow and provides a retaining barrier for heavy magnetite particles.
