The newly created position of Operations Manager has been filled by Heiko Scheu. After his apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic and further training as a master mechanic and technical business economist IHK, he became production/plant manager and head of the technology department at ebm-papst. As Operations Manager, he wants to align production, internal logistics and shipping for growth, with a focus on lean production with short throughput times, predictable output and “smoothed” capacity utilization.
