Water treatment during operation

In the bypass process, only a partial volume flow of water from a heating or cooling system is passed through the appliance. This process is used to remove impurities and improve the water quality without disrupting the operation of the heating system. This is very important for the comfort of your customers, especially in winter.

Advantages of the bypass procedure:

  • Continuity of operation: The heating system does not have to be switched off, as the process works during operation.
  • Gentle treatment: As only a partial flow is treated, wear and pressure losses in the main circuit are minimized.
  • Efficiency: The process is efficient because it works continuously and improves the overall quality of the heating water in the long term.

Many of our treatment devices treat the water in a bivalent bypass process, i.e. they soften, desalinate and filter at the same time. This means that the VDI 2035, ÖNORM H 5195-1 and SWKI BT 102-1 standards are complied with in a single operation.
