The quality of the heating water is influenced by various factors. These primarily include the pH value, conductivity, oxygen and lime. However, sulphates, chlorides, nitrates and acids can also affect the quality. With our Vadion pH-Control mixed bed resin, the substances that have a negative impact on water quality can be rendered harmless.

The water hardness (cold content) in conjunction with the amount of filling and make-up water and the wall temperature of the heat generator are largely responsible for the formation of scale in the heating system. The hardness is determined by dissolved chlorides, sulphates, alkaline earth ions and nitrates. This results in deposits, incrustations and scale. The higher the temperature, the higher the risk of scale formation.

A high limescale content leads to deposits in heat exchangers (high temperature) and in pumps (turbulence). This results in poorer heat transfer and defects.

Treatment with our mixed-bed resin Vadion pH-Control reduces both the pH value and the total hardness considerably. You therefore protect your customers from losses in performance and efficiency.
